Administration Team
Executive Director
Dr. Linda Delgado
Dr. Linda Delgado
Dr. Linda Delgado has taught in and led schools ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade for more than two and a half decades. She loves working with the children, teachers and the families that comprise healthy schools. Engaging in the learning process in company of others is a constant thrill whether behind a book, in conversation with students, or at the helm of a sailboat.
Linda began her career in education with service in the classrooms of her two children. Building on a degree in the Practice of Fine Arts, she acquired a Teaching Credential while working with a team of parents to start the first charter school in a large, urban district. She stepped into the role of teacher at that school, then completed an Administrative credential with a Masters Degree in School Leadership moving next into the role of Director for that school. In pursuit of her passion for the work, she next engaged in a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership focusing on the adult development of participants involved with the challenges of running a school. Over more than twenty-five years of gratifying work in five schools with focuses ranging from Project-Based Learning, Montessori, Independent Study and now (her favorite!) Waldorf, and including years of Charter School oversight for a large, urban district with 14 charters Linda has found her home at Live Oak Charter School. |

Enrollment Coordinator
Denise Williges
Denise Williges
Ms Denise is part of the early founding of Live Oak Charter School. Born in the lovely state of Michigan, she set down roots in Kalamazoo and Detroit, Michigan. When she was 9, her family moved to Switzerland, where she went to school and visited many countries. That experience was one of the greatest influences for who she has become. That first-hand experience of foreign cultures, languages, architecture, and travel changed a shy girl into a girl with wonder and strength. Her only calling in life was to be a mother of 100 children! The universe provides in mysterious ways. She is mother to 4 grown children and surrogate mother to many many more! Ms Denise has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and 35 years of preschool and grade school experience as teacher, class coordinator, field-trip organizer, etc. It would be remiss not to mention that she is also a professional chef and enjoys cooking for anyone who likes healthy vegetarian fare. She lives in Petaluma with her 2 horses, 2 cats and an enormous garden. Her greatest love and passion is to bring and teach kindness to children.

Lunch Coordinator
Aimee Ward
Aimee Ward
Aimee fell in love with Live Oak Charter School and the Live Oak community when her eldest child Hunter started Kindergarten in 2009. As Hunter was graduating and moving onto High School and her youngest child, Milo was taking a learning opportunity at another school, Aimee decided she wasn’t ready to leave the Live Oak community she loved like family. After many years wearing a volunteer hat at the school, Aimee decided to accept the Lunch Coordinator position. She loves being able to chat with the students while also filling their bellies!
