Why Pledge?
Live Oak Charter School depends upon this money to ensure programs and materials of high quality for your children.
As a public charter school, we receive less state funding than conventional public schools.
Live Oak Charter is more than a school; it is a community, and as in any community, we need to enrich it with our time and money to ensure that it will continue to grow and thrive.
Who needs to Pledge?
Every family whose child or children attend Live Oak Charter School is expected to pledge. As a public school, Live Oak does not, and may not, demand tuition, but parental contributions are necessary to sustain a charter school.
How much should I Pledge?
$150 per student per month over 12 months is the suggested
pledge amount, but ultimately, your pledge is the amount that is within
your family's means. Please pledge an amount that you intend to pay within
the fiscal year: July 1, 2009— June 30, 2010.
How do I make payments?
The easiest way to make payments is through our automatic payment service with your debit or credit card at www.folocs.org. This is a service that allows you to pay automatically each month. You may also pay by cash or check, and deposit your payment in the Friends of Live Oak mailboxes located on each campus.
How do I change my payment?
If at any time you need to change your pledge payment amount or method, please contact us at pledge@folocs.org with your request.
If I am continuing with the same Pledge as last year, do I still need to fill out a Pledge Card?
YES! Live Oak needs to plan its budget and fund raising goals, which are based on Pledge Card dollar amounts. Please keep Friends of Live Oak updated with your Pledge intentions.
